Although some of us may already know this I’ll share anyway: when it comes to child development, mentally and physically, for sport it’s best to expose your kids to as many different activities as possible. This exposure increases their physical and mental development by challenging the body in many different ways. These challenges are most effective before the age of 10 when they are the most impressionable. Soccer, basketball, baseball, ultimate, etc. AMYTHING and everything you can make time for, whether they are good or not makes no difference. These early challenges make for a more well rounded child and adult later in both physical awareness and cognition.
